Bec and Dan are very relaxed people and they wanted their day to reflect this, the Collingwood Children’s Farm was the perfect spot. With a love of flowers Bec wanted to fill her day with blousy blooms and native foliage reflecting the peaceful surrounds of the farm.
Under the ancient oak tree the pair married under a full floral wedding arch, Dan looked so happy when he laid eyes on his bride to be, both finding it hard to contain their emotions. The guests, seated on hay bales, leapt up to cheer when the couple were pronounced ‘Husband and Wife’.
It was a stunning March day and the wedding party were lead through the Collingwood Children’s Farm to play games on the large lawn near the riverbank. The reception was held in the barn where 100s of metres of hand made bunting had been suspended from the ceiling. Lots of large vases full of seasonal flowers in Bec’s colour pallet of blush, pink and burgundy filled the barn along with pretty elements like vintage linen supplied by the Farm Café.
Not lovers of cake, Bec and Dan choose to have a cheese stack instead, after the traditional cutting by the bride and groom the cheese stack was plated with fruit and biscuits for the guests to enjoy.
Eat, drink and be married was the theme of the day!
