Married at Lyre Bird Falls, this Dandenong Ranges wedding was full of laughter and colour. When I first met Amy I was instantly drawn to her to her cheery, giggly nature. I could tell this wedding was going to be one she dreamed of as a little girl, she was having a blast with the planning, knew exactly what she wanted and was not going to be influenced by trends. She was going to wear a pale pink wedding dress and asked me to fill her wedding day with over the top florals and lots rich berry tones (yum, yum).
When looking at examples of bouquets she liked, Amy would point and say I like this but bigger, always bigger please! I had so much fun creating Amy’s wedding bouquets knowing she wanted huge arrangements laden with rich coloured flowers and wild foliage plus long trailing ribbons to finish. We took this style inside the venue and created an overflowing bridal table filled with dripping foliage and loads of flowers for the happy couple to sit behind. The guest tables had footed compotes filled with a similar style. The deep colours filling the room added richness and warmth to what was was a cold May day outside.
The gorgeous photos taken by Adrian Tuazon perfectly capture how much this couple adore each other and loved the day.
